My car currently has 96K miles on it, motor is in great shape compression is fine no leaks timing belt water pump changed etc. But on the other hand it is 7 years old with almost 100K. I was wondering if there is anyone that is charged with high miles and if they are experiencing any problems that the low mileage guys arent? Any info would be appreciated. And yes I tried the search function smile

I also have a 94 Sedan and I went forced induction (6psi JRSC) with 112K on the odometer.

I now have 134K original miles, daily driven, 2 track events and my compression is still a rock solid 210psi all around. As someone mentioned above, make sure you're engine is in tip top shape.

Most importantly, make sure whoever installs your kit does it right because detonation will kill ANY engine, new or old.

Well, condition of many elements prone to breakdown is the question. Mainly belts, hoses, etc need to be thoroughly examined or just all replaced. Have the car thoroughly inspected by someone who knows what they are doing. If your engine is showing good numbers on compression, you should be fine. But check and replace if in doubt everything like the cap & rotor, etc.

I also have a 94GSR, I installed my JRSC around 96K about 1 1/2 years ago, now I have 117K. I have the standard 6 psi SC with BTC, TPS trick & AEM short Ram. I use the car for daily driving, no drag racing or any competition. Everything works out fine. The only thing that I needed to change about 1 month ago were the belts and the pulley (which as I understand, the newer ones come with the plastic pulley which supposedly better).

Make sure you check your compression and that you have replaced your timing belt just to be safe.

Just my 2 cents... good luck

    I have a JRSC D16A6 CRX.

    Engine never rebuilt.

Installed the SC @ 195,000 miles, Hoping the motor would blow, and I'd get it built up right.

That was 2 1/2 years ago.

    Yesterday went past 241,000 miles.

    No competition, daily commuter.

No upgraded fuel pump, Kamakazi header on the way (finally), BTM, NGK Platinum 7's.
No other mods, though I'm working on the TPS trick.

No smoke, no oil loss, no problems to date.

    (Aluminum pullys excluded) (2 sets)

I believe it all comes down to how you drive it.

If you're going to beat the SH$# out of it, of course you'll have problems.

    Big, expensive, ones.

I put the SC on 3 weeks ago. I have 115 miles on it. My idle fluctuates after I get off the gas, then it settles down. Vavuum leak is suspected. Going to take the blower off and retorque everything this weekend.

Definitely have a pro do it, or be ready to work under the hood yourself alot. It takes alot longer than Jackson claims to do it right, especially if its your first time....but I am just as happy under the hood as i am in the drivers seat, so I dont mind...
